This is a family history blog dedicated to the research that I have undertaken on the generations of my paternal and maternal families, as well as those of my wife.
I have also completed the history of my house in Glasgow and this will be written up in future posts.
Since my retirement I have studied at Strathclyde University at their Centre for Lifelong Learning where they have an excellent series of courses on family history research and have also maintained a regular interest in other aspects of social and geographical history.
The locations of these family histories that you will be reading range from Scotland to the south of England and also to Wales.
Above all, maintaining this blog will enable me to share these histories with my family, my cousins and friends.
